Contract Terms

1. Purchase Agreement:
   By placing a deposit for a Ragdoll kitten with Masterpiece Ragdolls Cattery, the Buyer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, acknowledging they have read and understood them.

2. Kitten Details and Delivery:

   • The Breeder guarantees that the cat being sold is a pedigree Ragdoll cat.
   • The kitten will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given all age-appropriate vaccinations.
   • Pick-up in Olympia, Washington, or delivery to Seattle–Tacoma International Airport is free. Kitten delivery occurs between 12 and 14 weeks old. Other pick-up/delivery options are available at an additional cost.
   • Between 10–12 weeks, the Breeder will contact the Buyer via SMS and email to coordinate delivery/pick-up. At least four attempts will be made to contact the Buyer during this period.
    

3. Failure to Respond:
   Failure by the Buyer to respond within 48 hours to communication regarding pick-up/delivery voids the contract, and the Buyer forfeits all monies paid.

4. Late Pick-Up Fees:
   Kittens not picked up or delivered by their 14-week birthday incur a $50/day boarding fee (paid in advance), plus any fees for updated vaccines or veterinary care. Boarding is limited to 21 days. Kittens not picked up/delivered by their 16-week birthday revert to the Breeder’s ownership, and the Buyer forfeits all payments.

5. Payment Terms:
   Reservation fees are non-refundable unless the Breeder fails to deliver the kitten. The balance is due 14 days before delivery or at pick-up. Final payments must be made in cash, Apple Cash, or Venmo (friends only).

6. Registration Papers:

   • Pet Buyers: TICA registration papers will be provided at delivery/pick-up. The kitten is purchased as a pet or show animal only; no breeding rights are conferred. The Buyer acknowledges the kitten will be spayed/neutered before leaving the Cattery.
   • Breeding Buyers: TICA registration papers (with breeding rights) will be provided at delivery. Fertility/willingness to breed is not guaranteed. If fertility issues are diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, the Breeder will replace the kitten with one of similar quality/gender for 30% of the original purchase price. Unwillingness to mate must be documented through video with at least two different mates after the cat reaches 2 years old.
    

7. Breach of Contract:

   • This agreement is legally binding and non-transferable.
   • Breach of the agreement voids warranties/guarantees. The Breeder’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the Buyer. Any lawsuits will be handled in Thurston County, Washington. Refunds/replacements are at the Breeder’s discretion.
   • The Breeder reserves the right to cancel the contract before the kitten leaves the Cattery if deemed in the best interest of the kitten/Breeder. In such cases, the Buyer receives a 100% refund of their deposit.
    

8. Rehoming Policy:
   The Buyer agrees to inform the Breeder if contemplating rehoming the cat due to life changes (death, divorce, allergies, financial status, etc.). The Breeder will include the cat in marketing efforts and assist in finding an approved home. The cat will stay with the Buyer until a new home is found unless immediate return to the Cattery is necessary. No refunds are issued in the event of rehoming.

By continuing, the Buyer agrees to the terms of the contract and finalizes the reservation of the kitten.
